I don’t believe in predicting the future. Not because I don’t sometimes do it, or have moments in which I “see” events that haven’t yet happened in linear time, but because every time I do it changes.
When I was a fledgling young psychic, first embarking on my new magical way of experiencing the world, I predicted the future pretty much all the time. I had all sorts of insights about what an upcoming trip to Europe had for me, the trajectory of my business, and other things that were absolutely “going to happen”.
Then I started to notice something. As soon as I put a voice to the event, saying “that will happen”, I could feel the energy of that certainty change. It fell open to possibilities, in which anything could happen, and anything did. I did not “liberate the trapped souls of Europe from millenia of war”, I did experience some unpleasant energy in Paris. And I didn’t meet my true love in Italy, just fell in love with the countryside. My proud predictions gave way to choices in the moment, and experience evolved from there. Anything is possible, and from the highest plane of love (where I like to communicate with my angels), really fantastic things are always available and willing to be shared. However, you have to take them in and accept them in the present moment or they don’t happen.
As soon as something is placed in future tense, it ceases to be real. Reality exists only in the present moment, anything else is a projection. This is why I only allow “predictions” in my readings when they feel absolutely necessary to the nature of the reading. Even then I caution that this prediction might not necessarily be exactly true, but rather serve for the person to hear in that moment and guide their actions. For another psychic’s experience with predicting the future, I invite you to check out my friend’s description of possible folly it can lead to here, http://www.rawhunger.com/writing/.
Of course you’ll fall in love, have the money you need, and live a rich and successful life. As long as you take action around it today. Predictions are great, living life in the moment is even better.
